Challenge: Practitioners of Momentrix investment methodology needed a purpose built financial analytic tool to facilitate the specific analysis required.
Solution: I did Lots of contextual interviewing in situ at trading desks, and wrote a good many user stories, etc., in an effort to understand just what the investment managers were doing on a moment-to-moment basis... Combined with a user-centric design process and an architecture that allowed for some development flexibility.
